i'm looking for a puppy
     to play with me
Fun and wild
     yet obey me
A cute little girl
     tall or small
To share our lives
     to share it all

I'm looking for a puppy
     could be any breed
As long as I think she's cute
     and she likes looking at me
A pet, a friend
     who doesn't need a leash
Someone to care for
     love and teach

Not a dog that barks
     not a yappy pooch
I want a peaceful girl
    who always likes to smooch
Holding hands because
     we want to touch each other
A girl to be my sister
     a girl to be my brother
A girl who'll be my protector
     like a doggie mother?

Oh yeah -- I want it all
    fetch, or throw the ball
I haven't found her yet
     But I just can't forget
Those moments minutes hours
     I have found her in the past
But only little pieces
     never the entire cast
